The decision of the so-called Supreme Court in Pristina to reject the request for the protection of legality in the case of Zoran Đokić, a Serb from Peja, is another indicator of Pristina’s anti-Serb policy and an example showing that Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija have no legal rights or rights to a fair trial.

This is what the Office for Kosovo and Metohija stated regarding the verdict of the Kosovo Supreme Court, which upheld the previous verdict in the case of Zoran Đokić, age 47, a Serb from Peja, accused of committing an alleged war crime in Kosovo and Metohija.

The Office added that “despite the fact that a number of Đokić’s procedural rights were violated, and no relevant witness recognized him as the perpetrator, he was still sentenced to 12 years in prison.”
