Today, Serbia Shall Elect Its President and MPs
Presidential and parliamentary elections are being held today in the Republic of Serbia, as are the elections in the city of Belgrade and 13 other towns and municipalities. As many as 6,501,689 voters will be able to exercise their voting right at 8,255 polling stations.
Pre-election polls indicate that the expected winner in the electoral race will be the most recent President, Aleksandar Vučić, who will probably, according to estimates, win 55-58% of the vote in the first round. As for parliamentary elections, pre-election polls indicate that the coalition around Vučić’s Serbian Progressive Party will most likely win the elections (with 46.5-49.5% of the vote), and, according to the same polls, it will be followed by the United for the Victory of Serbia coalition (with 16-19% of the vote).
