The United Kingdom announced today that they have imposed sanctions on Milorad Dodik, member of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and leader of SNSD, and Željka Cvijanović, President of the Republic of Srpska, due to, as they stated, their attempts to undermine the legitimacy and functionality of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The British sanctions mean that Dodik and Cvijanović will be unable to travel to the United Kingdom, nor use or access any assets which they may own in the United Kingdom.

“Their reckless behavior, encouraged by Vladimir Putin, is a threat to stability and security throughout the West Balkans,” the press release states.
