Goal of Arming in Kosovo and Metohija – Forcible Occupation of Province’s Northern Parts
The Chairman of the Committee on Kosovo and Metohija of the Parliament of Serbia, Milovan Drecun, said that the goal of arming the so-called Kosovo Security Force is the forcible occupation of the north of the province.
The so-called Kosovo Security Force is in its fourth year of transition towards the so-called Kosovo Army*, and that is something that is planned to happen and is being carried out systematically, something that the United States of America and Great Britain are playing a major role in, as are Turkey and Germany, said Milovan Drecun.
Regarding the role of Great Britain in this process and its policy in the Balkans lately, Drecun said that this country, since it left the European Union, has been striving to position itself as a significant factor not only in Europe but globally as well, and it usually does this by supporting or using the United States of America to achieve its own goals.
“Britain wants to do that in the Balkans as well, primarily through inflicting as much damage as possible on the Republic of Srpska and Serbia in the case of Kosovo and Metohija. Its negative role in the attack on our national interests is evident and it will further that role both through public and behind-the-scenes activities,” said Drecun as a guest in a talk show aired on Pink TV.
He pointed out that now, due to the situation in Ukraine, the transformation of the so-called Kosovo Security Force is being carried out rapidly, and that in addition to regular budget funds for the purchase of weapons, another fund was established to collect money from the diaspora and all Albanians.
According to Drecun, the goal of the procurement of weapons, which includes the procurement of helicopters, howitzers, mortars and reconnaissance drones, is the forcible occupation of the north of Kosovo and Metohija, as reported by Tanjug.
