If Bosnia and Herzegovina is basing its destiny on being protected by some informal groups, such as the Peace Implementation Council and the High Representative who was not appointed by the UN Security Council, then its destiny is going down the wrong path, said Milorad Dodik, Serbian Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dodik pointed out that the Peace Implementation Council was never a category in the Dayton Agreement, and that it is an informal organization without any substance in its structure.

“They are plain usurpers who have been trying for years to feed us a line that they’re some tough guys,” said Dodik at the press conference held as part of the Economic Forum in Jahorina.

He remarked that the western countries have abused the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to turn the Office of the High Representative (OHR) into an institution, which was wrong of them.

“The game of great powers is in the spotlight now. It is very easy now to see how global problems reflect on the local level,” Dodik concluded.
