Serbia’s position on the Ukraine conflict remains the same, President Aleksandar Vucic told reporters on Thursday in a comment on speculations about whether and when Serbia will impose sanctions on Russia.

“We maintain the same position as we did 90 days ago – we are the only country in Europe that has completely the same and just position, a position aligned with Serbia’s top state interests,” he said.

“It is a position of seriousness, a sense of responsibility and respect of international public law – that is the Serbian position,” Vucic said.

“We are not changing our policy and we are pursuing it in a responsible way, and the people will see the result in the end,” he noted.
