The Spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova ironically commented on the statement of the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz that Serbia ought to recognize the self-proclaimed Kosovo.

“Are those Serbia’s “friends?” Belgrade still owes nothing to Brussels (on the contrary — the West owes Serbs), and the Serbian people are already being told in a commanding tone what and how to do. What comes next?,” wrote Zakharova on her Telegram channel.
