Multiple elementary schools in Kosovo and Metohija which operate within the system of the Republic of Serbia have received bomb threats this morning. Seeing as the threats arrived immediately prior to the beginning of the morning classes — around 7 a.m. — the children were returned to their homes, and the classes for the day are being held online.

The Office for Kosovo and Metohija also announced that each of the 71 schools in Kosovo that operate within the system of the Republic of Serbia have received a threat. The Kosovo* Police confirmed to KoSSev that almost all elementary schools in the north of Kosovo and Metohija received a threat, as well as those in several municipalities in the Gnjilane region.

In the meanwhile, the Serbian Ministry of Education announced that schools from 12 school administrations across Serbia received threats via email.
