The Serbian Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik stated that the head of the European Union Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina Johann Satler with his accusations against the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) and the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) has shown that the years he has spent here have not helped him understand the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“The other day, Satler went running to (the channel) N1 to make excuses to the political Sarajevo about why the decision on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s candidacy status is what it is. There is no culprit big enough to justify the unreasonable decision of Brussels to grant candidacy status to countries whose borders are disputed just because it suits their geopolitical purposes,” said Dodik to Srna.

Asked to comment on Satler’s statement that “the HDZ and the SNSD have been tearing down important laws on the path towards the membership in the EU, while at the same time advocating for the European path”, Dodik said that everything Satler says goes out the window.

“Who here is interested in how he sees a glass and whether he sees one at all. We clearly saw the other day that candidacy status is not a matter of meeting conditions, but a purely political decision on the behalf of those who made it,” Dodik said to Srna.
