The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has fully breached the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina by temporarily declaring the Law on Medicines and Medical Devices of Republika Srpska and the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Republic Administration null and void, said the Leader of the People’s Party of Srpska /NPS/ Darko Banjac.

Banjac says Srpska has been aware for a long time of the Constitutional Court of BiH being political instead of a judicial body, which is trying in accordance with the Constitution, but whith what someone else tells it.

“This is supported by Christian Schmidt, a man who calls himself a high representative or a German politician who said that the Constitutional Court of BiH would decide on these documents and announced what kind of decision it would make,” Banjac, who is also a member of parliament, told SRNA.

According to him, Schmidt knew in advance what decision on this case would be.

“With this court’s decisions, they are trying to change the constitutional-political order and concept of BiH. Srpska and its politicians has opposed and is opposing it. We cannot allow such a behavior, and as far as I am concerned, such the Constitutional Court of BiH’s decision could never have been made as the court grossly violated the Constitution,” Banjac pointed out.

He called on the judges of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to start dealing with the Constitution, not politics.

Today, the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina temporarily declared the Law on Medicines and Medical Devices of Republika Srpska and the Law on Amendments to the Law on Republic Administration null and void.

The BiH Presidency Chairman, Šefik DŽaferović, reguested an assessment of the constitutionality of these two laws.
