Foreign Members of Constitutional Court of BiH Abiding by Policy of Muslim Sarajevo Lobbies
The president of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Republika Srpska, Rajko Kuzmanović, has said that by suspending the Law on Medicines and Medical Devices of Republika Srpska and the Law on Amendments to the Law on Republic Administration, the Constitutional Court of BiH demonstrated that it does not abide by the letter of laws and the Constitution, but by the policy of Sarajevo lobbies.
Kuzmanović told Srna that this is why such very bad solutions are made, adding that it is unacceptable for the BiH Constitutional Court to interfere that much with operations of the legislative branch of the government of Republika Srpska, even BiH.
He has said that the Court should make decisions that would be balanced and maintain the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“On the other hand, Sarajevo lobbyists constantly influence the Court, and it is not resisting it. The provisional measure of the Constitutional Court to put these laws out of force is de facto announcement that it will be decided that way. However, it doesn’t have to be so. We will wait until September when an appeal regarding these laws filed by the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Šefik DŽaferović, will be either accepted or rejected”, Kuzmanović said.
He has added that constitutional courts everywhere in the world are the highest legal institutions that protect the constitution as the highest legal act, as well as the state order.
The Constitutional Court of BiH yesterday suspended the Law on Medicines and Medical Devices of Republika Srpska and the Law on Amendments to the Law on Republic Administration.
