OEBS: Flammable Rhetoric Slows Progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is complex enough, thus inflammatory rhetoric, perceived threats and divisive policies significantly slow down the actual progress of the Bosnia and Herzegovina residents and increase social insecurity, the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina told SRNA over SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović’s warmongering message.
Commenting on Izetbegović’s warmongering message from the party rally in Hadžići, where he said that “the Muslims counted themselves”, the OSCE says that the true and constructive engagement of the political leaders of Bosnia and Herzegovina is key to achieving success in this regard.
“Political leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina must be responsible for the well-being of all citizens of this country,” stated the OSCE.
The OSCE Mission to BiH says that it will keep encouraging political dialogue and reform processes.
Speaking about the “military strength of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the worst scenario case”, Izetbegović stated: “We counted ourselves – how many hunters we have, how many young people, and how many drone instructors we have, and so on. I won’t go further, but just so you know.”
