The director of the Office of the Government of Serbia for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petković, says that the night in the north of this Serbian province passed peacefully, but in an atmosphere of tension, and that the Prime Minister of Priština, Aljbin Kurti, made unilateral decisions about car plates and IDs and is going to light the fuse on the powder keg in the north of Kosovo and entire western Balkans.

He said that Priština wanted to provoke conflicts and deal with the Serbian people, who were only defending their right to exist.

“Serbs want peace and stability, but our people are fed up, no one can endure the terror of Aljbin Kurti every day,” Petković told RTS.

He mentioned that Priština brought hundreds of armored vehicles and armed to the teeth members of the Rosu special unit to the Belvedere base, right next to the north of Kosovo.

“The goal was to invade the north of Kosovo and Metohija and deal with the Serbian people, who are defending freedom of movement and their right to survive in Kosovo and Metohija,” said Petković.

He pointed out that Serbia was trying in every way to preserve peace and stability, because this was the only way to move forward, create jobs, increase salaries and pensions, but he also announced a determined diplomatic struggle.

“In the last 24 hours, we have almost moved heaven and earth to reach all interlocutors who can exercise their influence, in order to preserve peace and stability,” said Petković. /
