
Albanian Police in Kosovo Getting Arms: Are Albanian Politicians Preparing for Armed Conflict?
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kosovo* has purchased weapons worth 1.3 million Euro, long-barreled weapons for the Border Police worth 350,000 Euro, as well as armored vehicles, water cannons and armored limousines worth 7.13 million Euro.
According to the state treasury report, this Ministry has also purchased specialized equipment for the border police worth 280,000 Euro.
This Ministry has invested 200,000 Euro in cyber security and other issues. Still, their investment in schools is what stands out.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has invested 747,117 Euro in building an elementary school in Peć, 864,828 Euro in building a music school in Prizren, 39,455 Euro in building a school in Bajčina in Podujevo, 286,303 Euro in building an elementary school in the village of Požaranje in Vitina, 64,731 Euro in building a fence on a sports field, 50,000 Euro in a multi-ethnic school in Severna Mitrovica, 290,000 Euro in building a school for lower grades in a village in Glogovac, 73,181 Euro in building a kindergarten in Prizren, 561,346 Euro in building a school in Komoran in Glogovac.
As for the design and construction of the hospital in Priština, 500,000 Euro went into that.
