NATO Holds Separate Meetings With Serbian President and Albanian Authorities of Kosovo*
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg will hold separate meetings with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the PM of the provisional Pristina authorities, Albin Kurti, at the Western alliance’s Brussels headquarters next Wednesday.
In a statement, NATO has announced Stoltenberg would first meet with Vucic and then give a joint press conference with him at 3.30 pm.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Vucic announced he would be in Brussels on August 17-18 for discussions with Stoltenberg and the next round of the dialogue with Pristina.
He said the discussions with Stoltenberg would be important due to the role of NATO and KFOR in Kosovo-Metohija.
“Those will be further discussions about establishing good cooperation and good communication, which is very important in times of crisis. I hope we will have a good conversation. We have already had a phone conversation and we agreed to sit down and discuss in Brussels all problems in Kosovo-Metohija, in particular in the north,” Vucic said.
