Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik said today in Novi Grad that the BiH Presidency didn’t make a single formal decision to enable BiH to join the US global initiative regarding Ukraine, emphasizing that the Foreign Minister in the Council of Ministers, Bisera Turković, is thus trying to make an additional uproar.

“She is not authorized for something like that. Foreign policy issues are under the exclusive jurisdiction of the BiH Presidency, which did not take that position. I also spoke with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, /Zoran/ Tegeltija, and there is no such thing at the Council of Ministers either,” said Dodik.

The Serb member of the BiH Presidency pointed out that this is the personal opinion of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers, explaining that the story was made that if Tuković says something, it is the position of BiH, which is not true.

“There is not a single formal decision that Bosnia and Herzegovina has joined the sanctions against Russia, so it will not join this one either. It can give its views,” said Dodik.

He noted that such a situation only shows how senseless, and divided BiH is and that it doesn’t have functioning bodies.

“It’s all a caricature and she /Bisera Turković/ obviously ignores all of that. They are the best at destroying Bosnia and Herzegovina. There is no agreement for such a story at the Presidency and there won’t be,” Dodik pointed out.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers said today in a press release that “BiH is joining the US global initiative against the apprehension and deportation of persons in the territory of Ukraine under the control of the Russian Federation,” at the invitation of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

“We are joining the condemnation of the activities of the so-called filtration operation for the detention and forced deportation of Ukrainian civilians to Russia,” the press release says.
