Vucic: Tough Fight Ahead for Survival of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday a tough fight was ahead for the survival of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija and that preserving peace as much as possible was the only right policy.
In an address at a plum fair in Osecina, western Serbia, Vucic said a difficult battle against problems resulting from the Ukraine war would follow as well.
“For us, the most important thing is to always be able to do everything for our fatherland,” Vucic noted, adding that Serbia was the only country in Europe that made decisions about its way forward in a freedom-loving manner.
Due to everything that is ahead of us, we must act in a serious and responsible manner, he said.
I do not think we should rush headlong and get into conflicts with everyone, Vucic added, noting that the only right policy was to protect peace and Serbian children as much as possible and to pursue a responsible and intelligent policy.
