The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina with executive mandate made a decision yesterday on granting approval for the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was opposed by the Serb member of the Presidency Milorad Dodik, while Šefik DŽaferović and Željko Komšić voted in favour.

This item was on the agenda of the 29th regular session of the Presidency, and since even yesterday, at the 157th extraordinary session, no consensus was reached, the Serb Presidency member can declare this decision destructive to the vital national interest, announced the BiH Presidency.

At yesterday’s session, the Presidency accepted the agreement between the EU and Bosnia and Herzegovina on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s participation in the Union Mechanism for Civil Protection.
