The Office for Kosovo and Metohija pointed out that, according to eyewitness statements, Nemanja Mitrović was intercepted on the street by his attackers, the Shabani family, which had already attacked the Mitrovićs’ younger underage son. On that occasion, he was intercepted on the street and threatened with a knife on Easter, and it was mere luck that the child was not injured.

“Abdullah Shabani is known for mistreating Serbs and vandalism in these areas, but he has gone unpunished for years. It is evident that the people who attack Serbs are going without adequate punishment, and the Office for Kosovo and Metohija is calling for the perpetrator to be severely punished,” said the announcement.
