A bus carrying Serbs who were traveling to the Patriarchate of Peć was attacked today in Peć when, according to the passengers, an Albanian man in a car cut them off, threatened them and placed a flag of the so-called Kosovo on the bus.

The bus was carrying the members of the Association of Residents of Planjan near Prizren.

Tour guide Slavica Josifović stated that the incident occurred when an Albanian man exited a vehicle bearing local licence plates and threatened in Albanian language the Serbs who were on their way to visit the Serbian holy shrine.

“He got out of the car, took a flag of Kosovo and put it on the front of the bus, threatened us saying that we were not allowed to remove it and photographed the bus, which had Belgrade licence plates,” said Josifović.

She added that the case was immediately reported to the police, as well as that she had requested an escort to the Patriarchate of Peć and Prilužje.
