In his speech last night at the General Debate of world leaders within the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić said that Serbia supported the territorial integrity of all member states of the United Nations, including the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

“That is serious, responsible behavior in this house. We have heard many of the speakers talk about the aggression and the violation of territorial integrity of Ukraine, many say that this is the first conflict on European soil since the Second World War. The truth is that the first time the integrity of a country in Europe was violated was then Serbia was attacked without having attacked any other sovereign nation. That is persistently being kept quiet. We are looking for a clear answer to the question that I have been asking of my peers, the leaders of many countries — what is the difference between the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia, which has been flagrantly violated, and to which many of you have given international recognition and legitimacy? I have never received a rational answer to this question from anyone,” said President Vučić.
