The rapporteur of the European Parliament for Kosovo, Viola von Cramon, commented on the signing of the Consultation Plan of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Russia for the next two years, calling this agreement a “serious scandal”.

“This is a serious scandal. Amid a raging war, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia is signing a plan for future collaboration with the Russian aggressor. Or maybe that is just a signal for us to put a freeze on the negotiations for their accession to the European Union, because the entry to the EU is not via Moscow,” Von Cramon wrote on her Twitter page.

“The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and Serbia Nikola Selaković signed yesterday in New York the Consultation Plan of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries for the next two years,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia announced last night.

The plan was signed on the margins of the 77th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, and the Ministry published a video recording of the signing and exchange of documents, which, it seems from the video, was signed in the offices of the Russian mission to the United Nations.
