Dačić: The Double Standards of the West
“In these difficult days, I would like to express my full and unequivocal support for the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić in the defense of our national and state interests,” president of the Socialist Party of Serbia Ivica Dačić said today.
“Serbia is fighting for peace with all its might, participating in negotiations in Brussels, even though Priština is not interested in implementing any agreements and keeps making unilateral moves with the aim of a military conquest of the north of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the pogrom and exile of Serbs. The European Union and the West are keeping their silence, and in doing so, effectively giving their approval to Priština’s moves,” said Dačić to Tanjug.
As he pointed out, they are also keeping their silence on the latest results of the census in Croatia, where the exile of Serbs continues, they are also keeping their silence on the requests to revisit the Dayton Agreement, which call for the abolition of the Republic of Srpska, reported Kosovo Online.
“They likewise keep their silence when the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Albania and Kosovo* sign various agreements which propose joint diplomatic missions and assistance with the recognition of Kosovo*,” said Dačić.
The European Union and the West, he stressed, only react when there is a need to threaten Serbia, like, for example, over the consultation plan between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs, the Serbian and the Russian.
“Personally, as Minister of Foreign Affairs, I signed several of those agreements with Russia, as well as with other countries, which is a completely standard practice, and in no way affects the foreign policy of Serbia,” said Dačić.
