The Serbian Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik said to the Russian agency TASS that he won the presidential election in the Republic of Srpska on October 2 despite the interference of the West.

“According to the results of the election, I am in the lead by 30,000 votes, which is about 5% or 6%. Under the current circumstances, that is a very significant result that cannot be brought into question by any process that may be put into motion here by the opposition parties, which are being encouraged by the Western embassies to cause instability,” said Dodik.

Commenting on the results of the vote, Dodik added that the situation was “peaceful and stable,” that the formation of a new government is being considered, and that preliminary meetings would be held today.
