Spain Confirmed It Does Not Recognize False State
Spain stands firm in the position that it does not recognize the unilaterally proclaimed independence of the so-called Kosovo and believes that the issue ought to be resolved through dialogue between Belgrade and Priština, announced the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Spanish ministry responded to the question from the Priština portal Dukagjini regarding whether Priština would receive the approval of Spain in its bid to join the European Union.
“Spain is holding its position that it does not recognize the declaration of independence adopted by Priština in 2008 and defends the need to resolve the issue through dialogue between Belgrade and Priština,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain.
