The Serb member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Presidency, Milorad Dodik, said on Monday evening that there are divisions in BiH which are inevitable and that is why demarcation is the best option.

“What was before cannot be returned. How can 150,000 Serbs return to Sarajevo? No way. This does not exist anymore and cannot be returned, and Yugoslavia was a great Serbian delusion. My biggest mistake was that I trusted foreigners and that will not happen again,” said Dodik.

Dodik has pointed out that for the Serbian people in Srpska, Serbia is the motherland and Belgrade is the capital.

“There is a part of the public in Serbia that gives speculative views. They are helped by some non-governmental organizations that harm Serbs in the long term. I tried to explain that to journalists in Belgrade during elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Dodik told “Una” Television.

He said that he had previously been offered to be a Western player, but that he understood that they were speculative.

“They want to secure a market for their companies in our region and to impose their values on us. We have the right to defend our country and existence,” added Dodik.
