Guillon: Why Don’t They Invite Just Kurti to Brussels; Priština, Not Belgrade, Escalating Situation
Regarding the possible meeting between the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti in Brussels, the Director of the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region and the Organization “Solidarity for Kosovo” Arnaud Guillon said to the television Pink that the European Union always invites both parties, and the calls to cool down and reduce tensions are always directed at both sides, even though Priština is the one that is constantly escalating the situation.
“Why are they not inviting Kurti by himself? How is it that they are not able to force their hand and get the Prime Minister of Kosovo* to implement and carry out the agreement, when Poland and Hungary are being punished,” said Guillon.
As he said, Serbia is a sovereign nation and it must never give up the fight for its goals. Its leadership is level-headed and does not seek anything except that which belongs to it.
“Do you know of any sovereign nation in the world that gave up its own territory or violated its own Constitution,” Guillon asked.
