The Special Representative of the European Union for the Dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo Miroslav Lajčak met in Brussels with the chief negotiators of Belgrade and Priština, Petar Petković and Besnik Bislimi, respectively.

Lajčak wrote on his Twitter account that it was the continuation of high-level meetings and expressed his hope that a solution will be found to de-escalate tensions.

“Today I hosted the chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia, as a continuation of our high-level meetings. It is my sincere hope that we will be able to reach a solution today to de-escalate the tensions on the ground and continue working on normalizing relations. Discussions are ongoing,” Lajčak wrote on his Twitter account.
