Following an armed incident in the area of Horgoš, the Serbian Police transferred about 1,000 migrants to reception centers. The search of the scene uncovered automatic weapons and insignia of the Kosovo Liberation Army, said the Assistant Director of the Police Dragan Vasiljević.

The uncovered weapons were mostly automatic rifles, handguns and a certain amount of ammunition, and a certain number of persons carried hats, scarves and caps with the insignia of the Kosovo Liberation Army, announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia.

Last Thursday, a group of smugglers and a group of illegal migrants got into an armed conflict in the town of Horgoš, near the Hungarian border.
