In his conversation today with the Special Representative of the European Union for the Dialogue Between Belgrade and Priština Miroslav Lajčak, the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić stressed how necessary it was to implement the agreement on the Union of Serbian Municipalities and to respect the rights and the will of the Serbian people.

“I went over the recent events in Kosovo and Metohija with Miroslav Lajčak, as well as the problems that the Serbian people are faced with due to the unilateral and illegitimate moves by Priština,” the President of Serbia wrote on his Instagram account.

“I stressed how necessary it was to implement the agreement on the Union of Serbian Municipalities and to respect the rights and the will of our people,” Vučić announced after his meeting with Lajčak.

Vučić said that “Serbia has chosen to continue to move forward with constructive dialogue, with the aim of preserving peace and stability and achieving better living conditions for all citizens”.
