The president of the Serbian List Goran Rakić spoke on the claims that Kurti would be deploying ROSU units to the north of Kosovo and Metohija this evening.

“After our appeal for peace, and according to the information we have, Albin Kurti announced in a session with his security structures that he would be deploying ROSU and other units, armed to the teeth, to the north of Kosovo and Metohija to persecute our people and conduct an Operation Storm*.”

We call on the KFOR to prevent the ROSU units from entering the north of Kosovo and Metohija, as their presence in this region is in violation of every agreement currently in force.

[*] Operation Storm was a military action of the Republic of Croatia carried out between August 4 and August 7, 1995, during which the Croatian armed forces forced into exile more than 250,000 Serbs from Croatia.
