Over the last several days, we were able to see a handful of disturbing photographs from Kosovo and Metohija. However, one photograph that is making the rounds on social networks has become a symbol of the barricades in the region, but also to some extent a symbol of the bright future of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija.

A boy on a bicycle, no more than three or four years old, is proudly standing in front of a cross and the barricades in the town of Rudare, symbolizing the strength and the faith of the Serbian people.

“A hero of the barricades,” captioned a post on Twitter.
