Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić urged the European Union today to help get Dejan Pantić released from detention, adding that she was horrified by what was happening to him.

Answering questions from journalists following a gathering organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia, Brnabić reminded that there have been several similar arrests of innocent people lately, assessing that the crisis in the province was caused in order for Albin Kurti to apply pressure on Belgrade.

According to her, everything would be different in Kosovo and Metohija had the Brussels Agreement been implemented, given that the situation would be calmer and more peaceful, the talks with Priština would be continued, and Serbs would return to Priština institutions.

Brnabić said that she could not call on Serbs to stand down from the barricades in the north of Kosovo and Metohija if armed special forces units are breaching their children’s kindergartens.
