Government of Serbia In Session Tonight: Adopting Motion to Re-Deploy Serbian Armed Forces And Police to Kosovo and Metohija
The Government of Serbia will hold a session this evening at 8 PM in order to officially adopt Belgrade’s motion to ask the KFOR to re-deploy our armed forces and police to Kosovo and Metohija, according to the letter of the UN Security Council Resolution No. 1244, reported the Novosti.
Per the information, the cabinet is set to hold a session in the Serbia Palace, and President Aleksandar Vučić will attend. The command of the international military mission will be presented with a document whose key points the Novosti published on Monday, and to which the Serbian side is fully entitled, keeping in mind that neither the KFOR nor the EULEX have done a lot in the way of protecting the non-Albanian population in the province, which has been subjected to Albin Kurti’s terror for months.
By the way, the provision of the Resolution No. 1244 which concerns the return of our security forces is phrased in such a way that it obliges the KFOR to facilitate the arrival of the Serbian armed forces and police in Kosovo and Metohija. Over the previous days, the German Minister of Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock and the Envoy of the President of the United States Gabriel Escobar have openly voiced their opposition this idea of the Serbian side, which is in direct violation of the norms of the international law and the United Nations.
