The Serbian Member and President of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović pointed out that the decision of the provisional institutions in Priština to ban His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Porfirije from traveling to the Patriarchate of Peć ahead of the great holiday of the Birth of Christ was shameful and discriminatory.

Asked by Srna to comment on this decision by Priština, Cvijanović answered that no civilized nation in Europe or in the world would ever consider doing something like this, and that the arrogance of Albin Kurti’s regime clearly had no bounds, as he has proven for the umpteenth time with this brutal act.

She pointed out that this ban represents a blatant violation of human rights and religious freedoms, which, when it comes to the relations of Priština towards the Serbian Orthodox Church, is a rule, rather than the exception.

“This is also a stain on the record of the foreign faction which approves Kurti’s scandalous moves. If these are European values, then we do not wish to be part of that value system. If they are not, then it is high time to put a stop to those who threaten peace and regional stability persistently and without any consequences,” said the Serbian Member and President of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
