The Minister of Defense Miloš Vučević announced that the number of members of the special forces of the Armed Forces of Serbia, that is, those who will be specially trained within the Armed Forces, will be increased to 5,000 troops by the end of 2023.

“I and informing the public of Serbia, and not only Serbia, that General Mojsilović, the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Serbia, and myself received an assignment last night, an order from the President of the Republic as the Commander-in-Chief, to increase the number of members of the special forces of the Armed Forces of Serbia by the end of 2023, that is, those who will be specially trained within the Armed Forces of Serbia, from 1,500 to 5,000,” said Vučević.
