Commander of Latvian KFOR: Barricade Removal Likely Aim of Shooting
The commander of the Latvian forces within the KFOR, Lieutenant General Leonids Klanin, assessed yesterday that the aim of the shooting in the vicinity of a Latvian KFOR last Sunday night was “most likely to remove the barricades”.
“It is most likely that one of the aims of this provocation was to remove the barricades so that people could move more freely,” Klanin said to the Baltic Times.
